Virginia Transformer Corp-VTCU of Pocatello, Idaho has an immediate need and is looking for a responsible Project Coordinator to administer and organize all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.
Project Coordinator responsibilities include working preparing comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and find contractors and maintaining project documentation. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with vendors, contractors, clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

A Materials Handler performs distribution of product by pulling job kits from inventory; delivering materials and supplies; staging product for other departments or plant locations. This will be done by utilizing available tools (i.e. cranes, forklift, dollies, and hand trucks). The Materials Handler gathers, packages, and crates products in preparation for shipping, unloading / loading of materials. The Handler maintains a safe, neat and orderly work area. Also, you will be required to drive to various storage locations within a 12 miles radius of facility and assist with shipping transformers to customer
Material Handler Job Duties:
• Maintain inventories of materials by identifying, labeling, and placing materials/supplies in stock; recording location of inventory/supplies necessary to meet production demands and maintain inventory of stock.
• Maintain weekly inventory of stock (min/max) items and review with supervisor or lead.
• Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.
• Deliver or route materials for storage or by job BOM using necessary equipment such as forklift, motorized pallet jack, hand truck, sorting bins and company vehicles. Including moving material from Troutville to Roanoke and vise-a-versa.
• Load or unload materials onto or from delivery vehicles.
• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Record all data, such as weight, charges, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Perform and report daily the checklist and mileage sheets for Forklift, motorized pallet jack, cranes and company vehicles used in the materials department.
• Transferring of materials in computer system
• File and maintain assigned recordkeeping, as needed.
• Conduct or assist with cycle counts of identified materials.

1. Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
2. Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
3. Ensures piping complies with electrical codes.
4. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
5. Connects electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building.
6. Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
7. Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
8. Replaces conduit and wiring as needed.
9. Replaces circuit breakers as needed.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
1. Ability to read blueprints.
2. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
3. Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
4. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.

Education and Experience:

2. Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electricians license required.

Virginia Transformer Corp-VTCU in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This position will support all aspects of building and equipment maintenance for the facility, including building maintenance, the maintenance of manufacturing and supporting equipment.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

Perform maintenance functions in a safe and profitable manner.
Perform and/or coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs
Perform maintenance including troubleshooting and repair.
Perform and or coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance/repairs of production support and facilities equipment, i.e. air compressors, forklifts, lifting equipment, HVAC system and filtration systems.
Install and/or oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all new and existing production and production support equipment.
Work with departments to ensure maintenance activities are performed in alignment with production schedules.
Initiate and maintain records within the maintenance electronic tracking system,
Ensure safety policies and procedures for performing maintenance activities are in place and comply with all State and Federal requirements.
Follow all building code requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work area
Support 5S, lean and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:

High school diploma.
Manufacturing and building maintenance experience is required.
Skillset of the Maintenance Technician:

Demonstrates working knowledge of machine controls and PLC controllers, vacuum and hydraulic systems, and pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
Able to troubleshoot, repair and or make recommendations, and perform root cause analysis.
Has working knowledge of following policies for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing facilities, building systems, and production equipment.
Has the ability to interpret mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, diagrams, and operating and service manuals.
Proficient in the use of power tools, measuring devices, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance practices, and working in a manufacturing environment.
Able to perform electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing repairs.
Work collaboratively with internal customers and outside contractors.
Possess working knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and preventative maintenance software.
Capable of obtaining and maintaining certification to operate material handling equipment, i.e. forklift, elevated work platform, and overhead crane.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to work at heights.
Is driven self-started dedicated to safety, quality, and continual process improvement.
Ability to work overtime required and responds to after-hours service calls when scheduled or in emergency situations.

Welders weld/assemble enclosures, tanks, and other structural components for Power Transformers, Switch Gears, Reactors, and other related equipment. Fabrication is based on mechanical blueprint specifications and built to established internal shop standards and/or per the Metal Fabrication Supervisor’s instructions.

Remove high spots and cut bevels, using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches.

Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.

High School Diploma / GED.

Minimum 1 year of experience in Steel MIG, Stick, Flux Core or Oxy/Acetylene torch.
