That’s a wrap on our second week of outdoor Ed! A huge thank you to St. Francis, St. Anastasia’s, Holy Trinity, and St. Boniface schools for joining us for a fun (and chilly!) week of learning and playing together! And a big thank you to Mr. Wolters for composing our new favorite song!

Throwback Thursday! 1971 was the first week for Outdoor Ed program at Foley. The first “live-in” outdoor education program in the state of Minnesota took place at Foley from Jun 7-11 involving 6th grade boys and girls from 4 St. Paul parochial schools. The idea came out of Bob Schmid’s visit to Colorado the previous fall to participate and teach in a similar program.
