Anthony Taylor project, We prepped the galley and aft machinery space and finished all the hot work. Today, we painted the bulkheads,deck and overhead with a coat of epoxy so we can start the electrical and carpentry work. Later, we’ll finish the floor with garage epoxy and black, white, and gray flakes.

Big refurbishment. We’re closing out the hot work about a week out and getting ready to move into prep. Moving right along.

Galley task
First step to the new galley: Installing a solid steel boundary bulkhead to separate the machinery space. Two days to fit, and welding on going. Next comes the paint, insulation, head, shower, sink, stove, and microwave. The works!

Out with the old, in with the new. New fuel service and transfer system installed with new racors and stainless-steel piping. Just the emergency fuel shutoff cable remains.

Megalodon 🦈 features 3/8” deck, 3/8” transom, and 3/8” headlog construction using USA A36 steel, fully painted inside and out for durability and protection. Every hull is 100% corner welded for maximum strength (4) 30’ Spuds, (3) watertight compartments per hull, removable rails, 16’ x 3’ Ramps.
