We get this all the time. If you sell your saw, or decide to get another one because the other quit working, save your Shark Guard and the clamp assembly that attaches it to the riving knife or splitter. All of our riving knives and splitters have our proprietary 2 or 3 slots in the top that the clamp assembly sits in, and locks down on. For his new saw it will be a simple remove and replace the OEM riving knife for ours. No new bracketry required.

Two Delta Unisaws. One older, and one newer. Both are now totally OSHA compliant. Don't call or email after OSHA has slapped you with a $5000-$15,000 fine per saw. Get it covered and have peace of mind. It only took 30 minutes to install both of these guards. Most of that time was getting the old junk off.

Typical email we receive. Just so everyone knows, anyone that wants a blade guard or splitter/riving knife for a Jet or Powermatic table saw, JPW Machinery gives them our phone number. They don't give folks our email. We can't answer the phone 24/7 365. We're having to screen phone calls now. Myself and our machining techs and even the Shipping Lady Jan, don't have time to answer the phone. It pulls us away from what we are doing, and if we have to do this every 30 minutes or sometimes 10 minutes, we can't get orders fulfilled. Email is best. We'll answer it. If you don't get a reply email, then call. We appreciate all of you!

[email protected] is our preferred way of contact. Much love. ❤️

Besides the Rockwell 34-395, I believe this is the best 12-14" table saw ever made, and of course, we make guards for it. This is a Powermatic 72A. Well worth the price. It will run forever, the cast iron top is flat, and more and more folks are getting into the aftermarket replacement parts business for saws like this. That is simply because the new saws aren't built like these are anymore. Sometimes technology isn't a good thing. Don't ruin what people want, which is quality.

This is my pet. Her name is Gigi. I just clean her up and turn her on every now and then. She was made in August of 1939. This saw revolutionized woodworking and wasn't changed much over the years compared to other saws, until the riving knife mandate of 2009. The Delta Unisaw is still made today. We've made a lot of butter and biscuits selling guards, splitters, and throat plates for these saws. Hundreds of thousands were sold. There were 64,000 34-450 models sold. The other more common models are the 34-802, and 36-812. The Powermatic model 66 surpassed the Unisaw in sales in the 90s, so Delta started making left tilting versions. The left tilting saws produce way more kickback injuries than right tilting one's. If I would have told an 18 year old version of myself this is what I would be doing one day, I'm sure I would have had a good laugh.

This is the most annoying question we get. The installation instructons on the website clearly state this, however, nobody seems to be able to figure this out. Take off the rear splitter rod. Remove that nut. The entire rod slides out of the back of the saw. There is a great video and installation tutorial on this page.....
