What a day at Doherty Steel Inc! 🏗️

We opened our doors for American Institute of Steel Construction and welcomed students, educators, and industry professionals into our Paola headquarters.

Guests got a behind-the-scenes look at our shop floor, saw our people and equipment in action, met with our vendor partners, tried hands-on demos, and learned about the gear that keeps our crews safe.

Some projects are about more than steel. 🤍🏗️

Doherty Steel Inc. made and donated the entry arch for Lakemary Center 's new Ursuline Legacy Park, a memorial garden honoring the Ursuline Sisters. The Ursuline Sisters founded Lakemary in 1969 and have shaped the lives of so many children and adults.

The entry arch pays tribute to the iconic gates that once stood at the Ursuline Sisters' campus, just up the road on Wea Street.
We believe in our local communities and giving back is part of who we are.

Feeding families and breaking records, one box at a time.

We recently took our interns out for a volunteering event at a local Harvesters, and in just 2 hours, our team packed 13 pallets plus 25 extra boxes. This broke Harvesters box packing record and helped feed over 550 families!

Harvesters believes access to food shouldn't be a barrier for anyone in any community. That's a belief DSI stands behind too, and our team showed exactly what that looks like in action.
