Casting molten metal is awesome. Obviously now I need to build a way to melt some of my own. This is a furnace I designed and built. I incorporated a few features that I thought would be useful. Started life as a propane tank.

Cabinet build I did for my lathe. All metal frame. 3/8 steel top. Baltic birch drawers with ball bearing slides.
