Happy birthday, NES! 🥳🎂
In June 1997, Chris Napoleon took a leap of faith and started his own company in a spare bedroom and the garage at his house on Bishop Street in Olean. In those early days, we were an outfit of just a handful of employees, a couple of bearing testing machines and some modification capabilities.
Twenty-nine years later, here we are 2️⃣9️⃣⚙️
NES has become globally recognized for its bearing inspection, testing and custom bearing manufacturing services.
We’re now one of the world’s leading custom bearing manufacturers for the aerospace and aviation industries, providing parts for, among others, SpaceX, Blue Origin, Rolls Royce and Honeywell.
We’ve also maintained a strong community presence, supporting the local job market while participating in – and hosting – numerous fundraisers, local events, youth functions and facility visits.
And we do so today as a company of 73 employees, in a 46,000-square foot building, as the largest independent bearing inspection and testing facility in North America.
We’d like to sincerely thank our customers, friends, business associates and co-workers (both past and present) for the tremendous roles you’ve played in NES’ success. We’re truly grateful for all the support 🤝🙏
