That is a WRAP on ! We unveiled the new 20x12 High-Acc machine, introduced our new customer portal, spent a LOT of hours on our feet, met many amazing people, talked shop and loved every minute of it.

The truck is packed and headed back to Oakland, NJ today! No rest for the weary though - we have machines to ship out to customers the day we get home.

The Story Behind the Part Video Series - #7

Every machine at IMTS has a story behind the part it's grinding. The 20x12 is no different.

Ryan, one of our project engineers, was looking above the paint booth and spotted a 1914 Cadillac transmission with a shaft sticking out of the case. Big, round, and exactly the kind of part that shows what this machine can do, larger than anything we grind on our other machines, with multiple diameters that have to come out straight and true through the 20x12's servo-driven dressers.
