When cutting muzzle threads, I take the same time and care to dial them in as if I'm doing a chamber. Two points in the bore get measured perfectly straight to 0.0002" or less. That's less than 1/10th the diameter of a human hair across the length of the threads. The gaurantees perfect co-axial alignment with the bore. This maintains peak accuracy when attaching muzzle devices and becomes especially important with longer suppressors 6"+. Anything less is unacceptable! Don't settle for less!

Earlier today, Nicollet County Commissioners voted to allow rifle use for deer hunting within the county, choosing not to adopt a shotgun-only ordinance.

This decision aligns Nicollet County with current Minnesota Department of Natural Resources regulations and recent changes in state law. On January 1, 2026, the long-standing shotgun-only zone was removed, allowing rifles statewide unless a county adopts an ordinance.

The decision follows thoughtful input from residents, representing a range of viewpoints within the community.

Well... Here's most of it minus Nicollet that will be deciding by the 28th or shortly after. This should be the 2026 Map as to what can be used where. Most chose to go rifle with a few outliers. Clay county decided to split up the county. The East and west boundary is mostly made up of Hwy 9, but it goes over to Hawley on 10, and south to 34 then back over to the interstate. I have included a map from the Fargo Forum that shows the boundary.

Another Updated Map. I will most likely not share another map until next week or later in the month. They all need to make a decision by May 1st I believe.

Here is an updated map as of 4/15/26. Some of these counties may not take action and are unknown at this time, A couple I have heard that they are shotgun, but I have no written proof. Stearns and Kandiyohi should decided by the 21st. Nicollet should be a few weeks yet. The others I cannot find any data, so they may just go with the states ruling. Clay county is also discussing splitting the county north and south.
