What's in the Shop: AICON TubeInspect P16

Dimensional accuracy is an important part of tube bending, and inspection technology helps us verify that formed parts meet the required specifications.

Sharpe Products has two AICON TubeInspect P16 systems that use 16 high-definition cameras to measure bent tubing, check angles and dimensions, and identify areas that need adjustment.

The systems can also send corrections back to the tube bender, helping reduce setup time, inspection time, and scrap while keeping production on track.

This technology is one of the ways we maintain quality throughout the manufacturing process.

What's in the Shop: BLM LT-Free

Our BLM LT-Free uses 5-axis laser cutting to process complex, three-dimensional parts, including bent tubing.

One of its key advantages is post-bend laser cutting. By adding holes slots, copes, and other profiles after bending, we can cut features directly into formed tubing based on its final geometry. This helps reduce the need for separate machining operations, manual cutting, and additional part handling.

Combining tube bending with 3D laser cutting allows us to streamline production while maintaining the precision needed for complex components.
