Opening our doors to the next generation of manufacturing! ⚙️

MetPlas, Inc. was proud to welcome students and educators for Manufacturing Day 2026. Students explored our facility, saw equipment and processes in action, and met the people whose skills and precision bring our work to life.

Building our technology means building our team.

As MetPlas, Inc. continues to invest in new technology, equipment, and manufacturing capabilities, we’re also looking ahead to the people who will help us grow.

Our recruiter, Kieran McAleer, has been busy representing MetPlas at several career fairs in recent weeks, including events at the University of Pittsburgh, Robert Morris University, and Duquesne University.

Career fairs give us an opportunity to introduce MetPlas to college students, future engineers, skilled professionals, and members of our regional workforce who may not yet know what we do—or the career opportunities available in modern manufacturing.

Technology may change the way we manufacture, but skilled people remain at the heart of what we do. As MetPlas continues to expand and improve our capabilities, we’re building the workforce that will take us into the future.

Another major investment at MetPlas!

This brand-new vertical mill arrived today and will add to our CNC milling capacity — one of several recent capital investments we’ve made to increase production capacity and advance our CNC machining technology.

Our customers have entrusted us to expand our capabilities in response to unprecedented demand coming from a variety of industries.

That growth means continuing to make significant investments, not only in the latest machinery and technology, but also in the skilled people who make it all possible.
