🎃 A Spooktacular Week at TWT! 👻

Our Mount Laurel office got into the Halloween spirit with four days of festive fun, team spirit, and friendly competition!

From Sports Day and Department Color Day to Plaid/Flannel Day and Halloween costumes, our team brought plenty of creativity and enthusiasm to the office!

We wrapped up the festivities with Family Feud: TWT Edition! 🎤 Five departmental teams went head-to-head in a lively competition with a live host, plenty of laughs, teamwork, and some impressive answers! Employees also enjoyed a Chick-fil-A lunch and a Halloween trick-or-treat candy bar to celebrate!

🏆 Congratulations to our Family Feud champions, Transportation's Teletubbies, and our runners-up, Transportation's Hockey Players! All five teams brought their competitive spirit to the game! Congratulations also go to our Business Office/Business Development team, who won Best Group Costume with their Minions and Gru ensemble!

A big thank you to our Employee Recreational Club for organizing the festivities and to everyone who participated, competed, cheered on their coworkers, and helped make the week a success!

Events like these are a great way to bring our team together and build connections beyond our day-to-day work.

🌊 A Memorable Week at the 2026 NJAFM Conference!

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor (TWT) had a fantastic time at the 21st Annual New Jersey Association for Floodplain Management (NJAFM) Conference!

This year's conference was especially memorable as we celebrated Cleighton D. Smith, PE, CFM, F.ASCE, TWT's Associate Director of Hydrology & Hydraulic Services, who received the 2026 NJAFM Lifetime Floodplain Management Achievement Award! 🏆 With more than 45 years of experience, Cleighton's dedication, expertise, and contributions to the field continue to make a lasting impact. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

Cleighton also shared his extensive knowledge throughout the conference, contributing to the Floodplain Management Basic Training session and presenting "A Look Back at Foul Rift," offering valuable insights into floodplain management and the importance of understanding past flood events to better prepare for the future.

Our team also had some impressive luck with the conference raffles! 🎟️ Erin Foody took home three raffle prizes, Cleighton won a gift card, and Cat Doran was the lucky winner of the much-anticipated TV raffle!

Beyond the celebrations and prizes, it was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations about flood resilience and water resources.

From Vision to Reality: Celebrating a New Chapter at Doane Academy!

Taylor Wiseman & Taylor was proud to join Doane Academy for the groundbreaking celebration of the new Lee Rowan Athletic Center, marking an exciting milestone in the Academy's $14 million project.

Supported by a generous $8 million contribution from a Rowan family heir, this investment represents more than a new athletic facility. It's a commitment to future generations of students, creating new opportunities for athletics, growth, and community connection.

At TWT, we're proud to work alongside our clients to turn ambitious plans into meaningful, lasting improvements. Seeing their vision take shape and knowing the positive impact these projects will have on the communities they serve is what makes our work so rewarding.

Our team also had the pleasure of participating in Doane Academy's golf outing benefiting its Athletic Department, another wonderful opportunity to support the Academy and its continued growth.

💧 Important Update for Pennsylvania Land Development!
A new amendment to Pennsylvania’s Municipalities Planning Code (MPC) is changing when developers must demonstrate adequate water supply during the land development approval process.

Under Act 58, developers will now be required to provide evidence of an adequate water supply before receiving municipal Subdivision and Land Development approval, bringing this requirement earlier in the planning process.

📅 Effective December 7, 2026, this change highlights the importance of early coordination and proactive planning to keep projects moving forward.

Another great year at Paws for the Cause! 🐾💚

TWT was happy to once again support Paws for the Cause at Fox Chase Cancer Center, an annual event benefiting cancer research and care.

This event has become a special tradition for TWT’s Ray Wheaton and his wife, and we were glad to be back with our TWT booth to support the cause and cheer on all of the two- and four-legged participants! 🐶

Our booth was stocked and ready, with the Milk-Bones once again proving to be a fan favorite among our four-legged visitors! 🦴🐾

It’s always a great day spent alongside the community in support of an important cause. Thank you to everyone who came out, and to Fox Chase Cancer Center for another wonderful Paws for the Cause!
