Cheat Code Quest, round 1 answers.

Puzzle 1: Windows key plus X opens the Quick Link menu. It is the same menu you get when you right click the Start button.

Puzzle 2: Windows key plus Z opens the snap layouts on Windows 11. Pick a layout, then pick a spot for your window.

Both come from Microsoft Support: Keyboard shortcuts in Windows, and Snap your windows. The Cheat Code Board is updated in the first comment. Round 2 is about iPhone and Gmail and starts Monday at 7 PM ET.

Send this to the friend who always has way too many tabs open. In Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + D, give the folder a name and hit save. Every open tab gets bookmarked together in that one folder. On a Mac, it's Command + Shift + D.

Cheat Code of the Day no. 18: Walking home late? Your iPhone can let a friend know if you don't make it.

It's called Check In, and you both need iOS 17 or later.
1. Open your friend's chat, tap plus, More, then Check In.
2. Tap Edit and choose When I Arrive or After a timer.
3. Tap send.

If you don't arrive or respond, they can see your location and battery.

Cheat Code of the Day no. 17: Laptop missing? Windows can show you where it is, but only if this is on first.

1. Open Settings.
2. Go to Privacy & security, then Find my device.
3. Turn it on, with Location on too.

You need a Microsoft account. If the laptop goes missing, sign in on another device, open Devices, then Find my device. You can lock it from there.

Free open tools like ComfyUI run models such as FLUX.1 schnell and SDXL right on your PC, and open video models like Wan can make short clips.
