Wheel Autopsy #1
Cause of Death: Shock Loading
Most wheel failures don't happen because of one bad day.
They happen because of thousands of trips across the same dock plate, trailer gap, expansion joint, or floor transition.
Every impact sends shock through the wheel, bearings, axle, and cart. Over time, the damage adds up until the wheel finally comes out of service.
This wheel didn't fail overnight.
It failed one impact at a time.
If you're replacing wheels more often than expected, start looking at where your equipment travels, not just what it's carrying.
