The Pottery Room is open and we have had our first class!

Brian Scidmore of Cracked Up Pottery will lead the FOUR LEVELS OF WHEEL CLASSES leading you through centering, opening, widening, and pulling. After completing all four classes, you can become a MEMBER and use the pottery room anytime the Makerspace is open and a class is not in session.

Members and anyone taking a class will also have access to the free OPEN STUDIO (June 9 & 23 and July 7 & 21 at 5:00-7pm) when Mary Garrigan will give guidance as you practice what you learned in class. You will only pay for the clay you use, but get there early as Open Studio is on a first come basis.

Classes are limited to 6 spots, so visit makerspace.bigcartel.com to reserve your spots. NOTE: JUNE LEVEL 1 CLASSES ARE SOLD OUT AND WE ARE PLANNING JULY.

Pottery classes are starting!

Four levels will introduce you to the wheel and pottery tools and then guide you through the skills used to throw pots.

Open Studios (June 9 & 23 and July 7 & 21) allow class attendees to practice their skills for free for a month (just pay for the clay you use).

After completing all four classes, you can become a member and use he pottery room anytime the Makerspace is open and there is not a pottery class.
