Have you ever gotten multiple bids on replacing a system or even just a furnace and wondered why some prices were quite a bit more then the others?

Here is an example of why you should never go with the cheapest guy and should always make sure who ever touches your equipment is licensed and insured.

We got a call last week from a couple in Shepherdsville. Who paid a company to come out and install a new airhandler in their trailer home. The other company started the job and mid way left. The customer tried calling and texting the company and only received radio silence. Even after she had already paid them. We show up on sight and this is what we found.

This is a used Trane Multi-Directional Air Handler. With the Multi-Directional meaning horizontal left/ up- flow / horizontal right. As you can tell this does not mean down flow. If you paid attention to the details above this is also a trailer park which requires a 0 clearance Air Handler. Which this Air Handler is not.
