November 10, 2012 brought devastation to the New York/New
Jersey shores as Hurricane Sandy blew through leaving an estimated $50 billion path of damage behind.

Trevcon was contracted by New York City to rebuild the boardwalks
at Far Rockaway in Queens, NY. This colossal project involved
rebuilding the entire 5.5-mile stretch, replacing the wood with
concrete to make it more resilient against future storms. They used dual Kenco Slab Lifts on a crane to assist in placing the huge concrete pads into position.
