Meet Jimbo Limpin, an ASEC team member whose passion for breaking began in 2008 after watching a Red Bull BC One video and deciding he wanted to learn the art form for himself.

Known in the breaking community as "Sh**un," Jimbo has spent years competing and connecting with dancers across the globe. His journey has taken him to events throughout the United States and internationally, including Slovakia, the Netherlands, Hawaii, and Japan. Through it all, he’s experienced how breaking brings together people from different cultures and backgrounds through a shared love of movement and music.

For Jimbo, breaking is more than a hobby—it’s a source of confidence, self-expression, and community. He credits the dance with helping him come out of his shell and values the creativity and individuality it encourages. While battles may look intense from the outside, he says the breaking community is welcoming, supportive, and built on mutual respect.

One thing Jimbo wants people to know: breaking is alive and well, and its continued growth even earned it a place on the Olympic stage in 2024.

Today we recognize both Flag Day and the birthday of the United States Army.

The American flag is a symbol of unity, sacrifice, and resilience—values that have been defended and carried forward by generations of Soldiers since 1775. On this day, we also honor the U.S. Army and the 250+ years of service, commitment, and strength it represents.

We are proud to stand in support of those who serve and the flag they defend.

Today, we honor the courage and sacrifice of the Allied forces who stormed the beaches of Normandy on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Their bravery changed the course of history and stands as a lasting reminder of what it means to serve with purpose and resolve.

Meet Brian Justin, an ASEC team member whose passion lies in competitive pistol shooting.

Over the past few years, he’s developed a strong dedication to the sport, where performance is all about balancing speed and accuracy through timed stages that demand both precision and control.

What he enjoys most, though, is sharing the experience—helping introduce new shooters to a sport he describes as incredibly welcoming and community-driven. It’s a discipline that challenges you to stay fast, stay accurate, and constantly improve both at the same time.

Check out this video on his YouTube channel to see him in action:

Memorial Day is a time to remember those who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy today.

We pause to honor the fallen, reflect on their service, and recognize the lasting impact they have on our nation and the military community.

Meet Sean Hoffman, an ASEC team member with a deep passion for the mountains and a resume to match. In recent years, he’s completed climbs and ski descents across the Pacific Northwest, including every volcano in Washington and Mt. Hood in Oregon, along with numerous other regional peaks.

One standout expedition took him to Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, where he and friends spent a week in a backcountry hut exploring and skiing glaciers—highlighted by a 45–50° couloir descent off the Pyramids. He’s also gearing up for the Kulshan Randonnée ski mountaineering race on Mt. Baker, where his team will tackle roughly 10,000 feet of climbing.

Sean recently completed a major personal goal by summiting all three Tetons (Grand, Middle, and South) in a single day, and he’s planning a ski descent of Mt. Rainier’s summit ahead of a reserve deployment this summer.

Beyond his personal pursuits, Sean serves as a volunteer with Skagit County Mountain Rescue, applying his skills to support and protect others in the mountains.
