Ahlrich Concrete, Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Concrete Estimator and Project Manager. Must have proven experience in Concrete estimating. As a concrete flatwork estimator, the ideal candidate will be responsible for compiling costs to prepare bids for small to large residential and commercial concrete projects.
Candidate must have experience in the following to be considered for the position:
*Ability to read and understand blueprints.
*Take measurements in the field to create estimates.
*Proven experience in concrete, structural and flatwork estimating.
*Very detail oriented, organized and with the ability to effectively multi-task and manage deadlines.
*Thorough knowledge of construction trades, specifically in concrete construction.
*Effective communication stills.
*Meet with customers and answer questions for general contractors and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
*Effective use of Revu Bluebeam for take offs and measurements.
*High skill level in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
*Experience using ProCore to communicate with general contractors.
*Use of Microsoft projects to create and maintain job schedules.
*Be able to obtain a CDL Class A. (a plus)
*Experience driving dump trucks, skid loaders, trailers, and semi-trucks. (a plus)
*Experience managing current projects while finding work for the future.
*Knowledge of SUDAS Standards as well as Standard Specifications for Highway and Bridge Construction.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed.
