Vacation mode is officially on. Blasters Tool is going to have to survive without me for a minute. 😂

But apparently I can’t sail past a quarry without taking a picture.

Spotted this operation cut right into the coast of Leros, Greece, near Panteli Beach. Thousands of miles from home and somehow I’m still looking at rocks wondering how they’re getting them out of the ground.

Always looking for evidence of blasting. 💥🇬🇷

Now this is cool blasting news. ☢️💥

Anfield Energy just completed the first underground blast at Utah’s Velvet-Wood uranium and vanadium mine in nearly 40 years.

The mine has been quiet long enough that most of us have changed phones about 25 times since its last underground blast.

Anybody here ever worked uranium, vanadium, or another unusual mining job?

Robot Rodeo 2026 🤖💥

Lane 5 was stacked.

The gear? Rode hard, hung up wet.
The techs? Squared away.

Minelab MDS-20 dual-sensor detector. NP Aerospace bomb suit. Agilent handheld Raman. Logos Imaging portable X-ray.

Blasters Tool brought the R-BOT field-repairable UGV, along with the Gemini zero-recoil disruptor.

What a great week in the woods.

We are at Lane 5 for Robot Rodeo this week. It’s a hike back into the woods, but we’ve got the R-BOT and Zero-Recoil Gemini out here getting plenty of hands-on time.

NP Aerospace, Agilent, Logos Imaging, and Minelab are also out here showing off gear.

Every year, our president, Charles Harrod, brings the entire Blasters Tool team together for Blasters Weekend. He rents an Airbnb, feeds us way too well, gives us Friday off, and reminds us that people come before profits.

This year, we wanted to return the favor.

Dubbed Executive Reserve, it features the Blasters Tool logo and a few details that fit Charles perfectly
