We had a client come in thinking he had a problem with one of his leveling jacks. But after a little digging, we discovered the issue wasn’t a leak, a loose fitting, or a bad part at all — it was a rodent.

Yep… a tiny critter managed to chew right through a hydraulic hose, causing the system to lose pressure and stop working properly. It’s wild how something so small can create such a big mess. Take a look at this critter's handiwork in the photo below and check out those teeth marks!

If your RV, trailer, or leveling system sits for long periods, critters can find their way into some unexpected places. Today was a good reminder that even well‑built systems aren’t immune to nature’s “engineers.”

Stay safe, stay level — and maybe keep an eye out for furry visitors where they don’t belong! 🐾😅

🚐✨ Pre‑Trip Catch of the Day ✨🚐
A client came in for a quick pre‑trip check, and while everything looked good, we did spot one small issue — a bent clevis pin (you can see it in the photo next to the new one).

It’s a tiny part, but catching it now prevented what could’ve turned into a much bigger problem on the road. A simple $6 replacement means they can start their trip stress‑free.

Safe travels to them and anyone else heading out soon!

RV Fact of the Day: Did you know the very first motorized RV was built in 1910 by the Pierce-Arrow Motor Car Company? It was called the "Touring Landau" and came equipped with a sink, a bed, a toilet, and even a phone to communicate with the driver! 😲🚽📞
