We had an incredible time at the 75th Annual Greater Kansas City Science Fair at Union Station Kansas City. As first-time supporters our team had the honor of serving as judges and presenting 3 Special Awards for Innovation in Mechanical Engineering. Watching the next generation of engineers and problem-solvers showcase their ideas was nothing short of inspiring.

The creativity, dedication, and passion these students brought to their projects reminded us exactly why we do what we do and we believe the future of engineering is in great hands.

A huge congratulations to all of the participants, and a heartfelt thank you to the organizers Emily Meyers and Keity Lane for putting on such a fantastic event. And Hilary Fuller for getting awesome photos of the ASI team in action. We can't wait to be back next year.

This past week we hosted our 11th Annual Safety Symposium. Each year, this event brings together field superintendents, safety representatives, project managers, controls engineers, and leaders from across the U.S. and Mexico for a full day of training, collaboration, and honest conversations about how continue to keep our people not just talking about safety culture but demonstrating it on the jobsites as well.

This year’s setting made it even more memorable. Hosting the symposium at Kauffman Stadium the home of the Kansas City Royals as the backdrop was something special. Seeing the Automatic System's logo displayed at that scale, the largest it’s ever been, was a proud moment. Not because of the size of the sign, but because of what it represents not only the growth of our company but the continued commitment to doing the job the right way.

’Twas the season of teamwork, and Automatic Systems, Inc. understood the assignment.

A flurry of generosity as our team came together to collect and donate 300 toys to the ChChildren's Mercyospital Snowflake Shoppe proving that when Automatic Systems, Inc. rallies, even Santa would be impressed! As these weren’t just toys we collected, we knew those toys would be a moment of joy for a child spending the holidays in the hospital. We had a shared goal to make the season a little brighter for the families at Children's Mercy Hospital right here in our community and WE DID IT!

We hosted a food drive recently and collected over 4,000 food items, enough to assemble 287 complete Thanksgiving meal kits for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas

This wasn’t just a donation drive it was a true team effort. Every contribution, from a single can to an entire bag of groceries, added up to something much bigger. Because of our employees’ generosity, hundreds of families will be able to enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal this year.

Our team gathered, sorted, and packed these items. The team’s commitment to the surrounding community made this large feat possible.

We loved having the Build Trybe Building Trades Pre-Apprentices visit Automatic Systems this week.

They got a behind the scenes look at our fabrication shop, met some of our talented team members, and learned what a future career could look like as a Union Millwright at Automatic Systems.

It’s always exciting to see young people exploring the trades and asking great questions. These students are the future of our industry, and we’re grateful for the chance to share what we do and hopefully spark a little inspiration along the way.

Halloween was full of fun and flavor here today at ASI! Between our Annual Costume Contest and Chili Cook-Off, we had plenty of laughs, creativity, and a little friendly competition.

This past Friday, we hosted our annual ASI Oktoberfest, and it was one for the books! From delicious eats at the food trucks, colorful face painting, bounce houses, and live music there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Each year, we love taking this time to celebrate not just our employees, but their families who are such an important part of the ASI community. Seeing kids laughing, parents relaxing, and everyone coming together reminds us that our company culture is built on more than just hard work it’s built on connection.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special.

We proudly competed for the first time in the 2025 Kansas City Fall Series Corporate Challenge!
Across 8 events, broken down into men’s, women’s, and team divisions, our participants brought home an outstanding 10 medals: 6 Gold, 1 Silver, and 3 Bronze.

This was an incredible showing for our first year, and we’re grateful to everyone who stepped up to represent ASI with hard work, team spirit, and a little healthy competition.

We can’t wait to build on this momentum next year!
