Congratulations to JWF Industries on the grand opening of its new Vehicle Integration Center in Windber! 🥳

The Somerset County Chamber was proud to join the JWF team, community leaders, and partners as they celebrated this exciting milestone with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

According to JWF, the company currently generates more than $100 million in annual sales, operates over 1.3 million square feet of manufacturing space, and employs more than 400 professionals across its operations.

During the event, Bill Polachek, CEO and Chairman of the Board, announced that JWF has secured more than $500 million in additional contracts and long-term agreements that are expected to be finalized in the coming months. As a result, the company anticipates creating approximately 200 new jobs by the end of 2027!

This investment represents a tremendous opportunity for our region and highlights the strength of manufacturing, innovation, and workforce development right here in Somerset County.

Dignitaries from Somerset and Cambria counties gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday to officially open a new JWF Industries site in Windber.

We were honored to celebrate the official ribbon cutting of our Windber facility, celebrating the repurposing of this facility along with the redesign of space in our other nine facilities, marking an exciting new chapter in JWF Industries' continued growth and commitment to our region.

This 200,000-square-foot facility represents more than just a building—it reflects the hard work, dedication, and vision of our employees, customers, partners, and community leaders who have helped make this achievement possible.

A special thank you to our distinguished guests, including US Congressman Guy Reschenthaler, Lt. Gen. George Trautman, III, (Ret.) USMC, PA Rep. Carl Metzgar, PA Senator Pat Stefano, PA Rep. Jim Rigby, Mayor of Windber Boro Mike Thomas and additional elected officials, industry partners, and community leaders who joined us to celebrate this milestone.

As we continue to invest in manufacturing, defense, technology, and workforce development, we remain committed to creating opportunities right here in our region.
