Rubber valve stems can crack/tear right at the base (usually when you least need a flat). That’s why all‑metal valves are a solid upgrade on wheelchair inner tubes—more durable stem, less wobble, and they hold up better over time.
Have you ever had a valve stem fail, or are flats usually from punctures?
