Rubber valve stems can crack/tear right at the base (usually when you least need a flat). That’s why all‑metal valves are a solid upgrade on wheelchair inner tubes—more durable stem, less wobble, and they hold up better over time.

Cleaning quick-release axles is one of those “2-minute” maintenance wins.
Wipe down the axle and spacers, add a couple drops of lubricant, then move the axle in the sleeve to spread it around. Done.
Tip: If you run spacers, don’t forget to put them back on before you take off.
