Throughout October, our H&R Agri-Power team has worn their Breast Cancer Awareness shirt every Friday in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

This campaign has been about more than just wearing pink. It’s about showing support for those who have been affected by breast cancer, honoring those who continue to fight, and remembering those we have lost.

We are so thankful for our employees, customers, and communities who helped make this campaign a success. From purchasing shirts and making donations to participating in our fundraising activities, every bit of support makes a difference.

Today, we held our United Way of the Pennyrile employee lunch, and it was another fun opportunity to bring our team together for a great cause! ❤️

A big thank you to the Christian County Cattlemen’s Association for preparing our ribeyes 🥩 and Four seasons catering for providing the sides. We also enjoyed hearing from the Christian County Rescue Team, Derrick and Amy Watson, Chairs of the United Way of the Pennyrile Campaign, and Melanie Noffsinger, Executive Director of the United Way of the Pennyrile. 👏

A few of our employees even joined in on some news-related games for entertainment! 📰🎉

Christian County Youth Leadership was a packed day, but so worth it!

We had the opportunity to host students from all three high schools in Christian County for a day of learning about agriculture and the impact it has on our community.

We started with a quick presentation about agriculture and its importance to Christian County before heading out to Hunt Farm. The students toured the to***co barn and got an up-close look at the combines.

During lunch, our friend Brandon Garnett with Farm Credit Mid-America joined us to talk about what they do and the many ways they support agriculture. Brandon is a great friend to the agricultural community, and we appreciate him taking the time to connect with the students.

After lunch, the students heard from a panel about the many career opportunities available in agriculture. We also had a drone presentation, and everyone got the chance to take the tractors for a spin!

We wrapped up the day with a tour of the Krusteaz facility.

A big thank you to Darrin Hunt, Nick Rust, and Sadie Edwards for coordinating the day, and to everyone who helped make it possible! We look forward to this event every year and love getting to show the next generation the many opportunities agriculture has to offer.
