Rolling into Montana with precision and purpose.

Our team is loading with safety at the forefront—secure straps, balanced weight, and every checkpoint double‑verified. When we send a load across state lines, it’s not just lumber on a truck… it’s someone’s project timeline on the line.

From the yard to the Montana jobsite, we make sure every bundle is loaded right, transported safely, and delivered on time so builders can keep moving without delays.

Black Tie Components — Built for the long haul.

This week for National Safety Month, our focus is on Forklift Safety — the habits, awareness, and decisions that keep our crews and our shop moving safely.

Forklift Do’s:
• Stay alert and maintain clear visibility
• Use your horn at intersections and blind spots
• Keep loads stable and within capacity
• Wear your seatbelt
• Drive at a safe, steady speed

Forklift Don’ts:
• Don’t carry passengers
• Don’t lift or move unstable loads
• Don’t use a forklift if you’re distracted or fatigued
• Don’t exceed speed limits
• Don’t operate without proper training

Safety doesn’t stop when we clock out. Outside of work, we’re highlighting roadway safety — slowing down, staying focused, and watching for changing conditions on the road. The same awareness that protects us in the shop protects our families on the drive home.

Building safely means staying alert everywhere.

June is National Safety Month!

This week, we’re spotlighting First Aid awareness and the everyday habits that help prevent the most common work‑related injuries. At Black Tie, safety starts long before an incident — it starts with knowing what to look for and how to respond.

Top Injuries We Work to Prevent:

Sprains & Strains — Lift with your legs, not your back. Use team lifts when needed.

Slips, Trips & Falls — Keep walkways clear, clean up spills, watch uneven surfaces.

Cuts & Lacerations — Use sharp tools correctly and wear proper PPE.

Struck‑By Injuries — Stay alert around moving materials and equipment.

Caught‑In/Between — Respect pinch points and never bypass machine guards.

Repetitive Motion Injuries — Rotate tasks and stretch throughout the day.

Burns — Be cautious around hot surfaces, chemicals, and electrical sources.

Hearing Loss — Wear hearing protection in high‑noise areas.

First Aid matters because quick action can prevent a minor injury from becoming a major one.
Know where your First Aid kits are, report hazards right away, and look out for your crew.

Safety isn’t just a June focus — it’s how we build every day.

Who says work can’t be fun?

As we kick off our busy season, the crew wrapped up our first-ever Chase the Ace — Black Tie Style. Weeks of strategy and a little friendly competition led us to one champion…

Congratulations to Hugo Jauregui — our May winner!

Strong work, Hugo. Strong month, team. Let’s carry this momentum into the season ahead.
