Alocasia elephant Ear plant
at your local Miner's ACE Hardware.

Alocasia is a beautiful
plant that can grow well on most of the central coast, both inside and out. Bright, indirect sunlight is best for the Alocasia, no direct sunlight as it may burn or bleach the large leaves. Allow for well drainage, while keeping soil moist; but letting the top 1-2 inches of soil to remain dry. Unlike the Colocasia, the Alocasia does not like sitting in standing water. Thrives in humanity 60-70%, and does well in kitchens and bathrooms, with temperatures of 65 to 80 degrees. Use loose, rich Potting soils that also can be found at your local Miner's ACE Hardware.
