Want to know why it’s important to choose a quality, known shop?
Here’s a good example- After two botched attempts from two different welders in our area, neither one knew how to provide a quality service to their customer. From originally underquoting their scope of work and overestimating their skill set. This unit needs to hold water and be 100% watertight. Currently, it’s a scrap pile with wasted material the customer had supplied to them. The bottom seam was so non-weldable from porosity, the only cost effective option was to completely encase it with formed plate and weld it solid. Every chalk arrow is a leak location that will need to be ground out and reworked. There’s much more to this line of work, that people forget to ask the right questions before saying “okay”. This kind of quality is 100% not okay if you are a paying customer.
