Directions

Research and Investigation of the Paranormal, (RIP), is a team of dedicated members who seek to find the scientific truth regarding the paranormal.

RIP raises money through charity ghost hunts to support Veterans, Law Enforcement and First Responders. Founded in 2008, we are attempting to gain a better understanding of paranormal activity, utilizing scientific methodology, and providing tangible/logical explanations to "unexplained" activity whenever possible. Evidence is gathered by utilizing various modes of equipment including full spectrum cameras, voice recorders, electromagnetic field meters and more. We work with the community to help them understand how paranormal investigations are conducted and what entities they may be experiencing, all in an effort to promote and explain the paranormal field. Greg Stephens, Founder/Team Leader/Lead Investigator
Greg retired as a First Sergeant from the U.S. Army in February 2014 after 26 years of service. His interest in and experience with the paranormal began as a child growing up in Mineral Well, Texas when he would see and chase American Indian spirits along the river. Greg has a deep love and respect for the U.S. Armed Forces and history - especially the Civil War and all things military. He officially began investigating in 2007 with another team when he realized they were not in it for the people, rather seeking fame. He formed RIP in 2008. If you or someone you know is experiencing unexplainable occurrences contact us, we can help.

To everyone who came out to our RIP Ghosts, Legends and Lores Ghost Hunt this past weekend, THANK YOU!! Meeting so many of you was incredibly fun. What a great way to help Veterans, First Responders and Law Enforcement Officers!!

I didn’t get to take a whole lot of pictures and videos, but we definitely had lots of activity!! Whether you chose to interact and ask questions, sing, or just watched and soaked it all in - I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Feel free to tag yourself in these, and share them with your friends.

Listen closely to the video where I ask for a name. I was directing the questions to Rose, but I think our “grumpy friend” in the International Doll Room was answering. Tell me what YOU think he says. I didn’t hear anyone talking when I was recording. (Ps… The question about Bonnie and Clyde came as a follow up to a question a guest asked.)

If YOU have pictures and videos that you don’t mind sharing, we would LOVE to see them!!

On behalf of Research and Investigation of the Paranormal, Mr. Jeffrey Nutt, sweet little Rose, Miss Georgia, or Mr. Large and in Charge, y’all take care! Hopefully we’ll see you again next year!! (More pictures in the comments!)
