The Galloway team had a great week at ISE EXPO 2026 in Nashville. It was an excellent opportunity to connect with customers, partners, and manufacturers, discuss ongoing projects, and explore new opportunities as fiber broadband expansion continues across the country.
One of the highlights of the event was Andrea Wegley, Galloway's National Director of Broadband & Strategic Accounts, participating in the BEAD Funding at the Crossroads panel alongside industry leaders from Charter, Citi Connect Industries, CLAD, and Pacific Tech Communications.
Some key takeaways from the discussion included:
• Permitting, pole attachments, and right-of-way access continue to impact project timelines.
• The industry faces ongoing challenges in managing complex, multi-year deployments while addressing workforce and operational capability gaps.
• Inconsistent requirements across counties, states, and municipalities increase project complexity and administrative burdens.
• Demand for fiber optic cable and related infrastructure products remains strong, making supply chain planning more important than ever.
These challenges reinforce the value of proactive planning and strong partnerships. Galloway is working closely with customers and manufacturers to help keep projects on track by:
• Forecasting and securing inventory months ahead of project needs
• Holding customer stock in strategic locations across the U.S.
• Providing expedited deliveries to active job sites
• Responding quickly to changing construction schedules to keep crews productive and projects moving forward
Thank you to everyone who attended and connected with the team. Andrea Wegley, Judy Graham, Harold Seaman, and the rest of the Galloway team will be following up over the next couple of weeks. If we missed you at the show or you'd like to continue the conversation, we'd love to connect!
