Job Opening:
LAND SURVEYING - CREW CHIEF (posted 8/13/21)
Duties include: Outdoor work in various weather conditions in all seasons, demanding physical work including some heavy lifting, driving to job sites in a company vehicle, meeting and communicating with clients and other officials. Candidates must be able to read and understand blueprints, plans and maps. Candidates should be familiar with Robotic Instruments, GPS Equipment, Levels, Data Collectors, Coordinate Geometry, Computers and Computer software. This position will involve boundary calculations and justifications, as well as preparing design files for construction stakeout. Some training will be provided.

Qualifications: Must be a resident in or near Berks County, possess a valid PA Drivers License, good communications skills, physically fit, a strong work ethic who has work experience as a Party Crew Chief. Candidates must take/give direction, work alone or in a team setting and have experience operating survey equipment, reading deeds and maps. Candidate must have office skills and be familiar with CAD and other land surveying software.
