We recently got our first chance to test out the new Honda ProVision ZTR.

Here’s what stood out right away:
• Smooth, comfortable ride
• Plenty of power at the blades
• Heavy duty twin blade deck design
• Intuitive operator controls
• Easy dial height adjustment

Here’s what we’d still like to see improved:
• Suspension performance on rougher terrain
• Better deck stability during turns
• More consistency in cut quality on uneven ground

Overall, the Honda is definitely moving in an interesting direction with this mower. There are some really solid ideas here and it’s exciting to see new technology entering the zero turn market.

We’re not fully hopping on the Honda ZT bandwagon just yet… but we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on where they go from here.
