[FIT Excavating of Topeka, Kansas, using our Curb Roller CM4000 with Hydra-Pack HP1300!]
"We installed roughly 300' of curb and gutter. It took about 2 and a half hours between getting the first truck on site to finishing the last bit of curb.
We had some downtime in between trucks, about 30 minutes.
Prior to using the Curb Roller, we would have poured out 150' in the morning and another 150' in the afternoon. Essentially took an 8 hour job and cut it down to 2 and a half hours. If the temperatures wouldn't have got above pouring temps we would have ordered more back and probably laid down all of it. Roughly 375' was set up." - Kory James, FIT Excavating Inc.

CHECK IT OUT! Curb Roller is in Dallas with RC Paving INC. doing residential work. The crew is using a 14 FT drum with a Curb head built in. With this set up, they are able to pour a whole side at one time with a uniform Curb head powered by our Hydra screed, allowing for consistent paving ALL-IN -ONE. This aids in higher quality production and a less labor intensive project.

Her role combines marketing, creative communication, and special project management, with a focus on supporting Curb Roller Manufacturing’s continued growth and building a strong, recognizable brand within the construction equipment industry.
As Marketing and Special Projects Manager at Curb Roller Manufacturing, Jackie will help drive the company’s marketing strategy and strengthen its presence across digital and social media channels. When your work is held up by a single skill or a single person, especially with something like curb and gutter work, the consequences can sometimes be costly. Whether you’re running your own small crew or managing jobs across a larger operation, a few things tend to come up over and over again:

• Skilled labor is hard to find and keep
• Subcontractors create scheduling risks
• Small jobs fall through the cracks
• Production rate and consistency are always on the line

There are different solutions available, but some require more skilled labor (which may not be readily available in your area), or a very large investment that requires additional space to store (hint hint slipform pavers).
