NorthWind Technical Services, LLC, was established in 1997 by Mike and Marlene Bosworth in their home outside of Sabetha, Kansas. At that time, the company primarily offered engineering consulting services. By 1999, NorthWind began offering automation system solutions and moved into a small office space in downtown Sabetha and were building the control panels for the automation systems in the Bosw
orth garage. In 2001, they hired their first full time employee. By 2003 a 5000 sq. office and panel shop was constructed in the Sabetha industrial park to house the business. Today, NorthWind has 60 full time and several part time employees that provide process automation services, industrial control panel fabrication, and engineering support services to clients throughout the United States and around the world. In 2019 NorthWind opened it’s second office in Costa Rica to better serve our customers in Latin America. NorthWind fabricates U.L. Listed industrial control panels in its 10000 sq. ft., climate-controlled manufacturing facility located at the company headquarters in Sabetha, Kansas. The facility is fully equipped to fabricate, test, pack, and ship panels of any size. The company earned CSIA (Control Systems Integrators Association) certification in 2010 and continues to utilize CSIA’s Best Practices and Benchmarks in order to provide the best value to its customers, combining technical proficiency with sound business practices.
