Congratulations to the entire Howard Frankland Bridge project team on this recognition!

Triad Fabricators contributed to the project by Fabricating nearly 1,200 tons of pile templates, which were fully assembled and shipped by barge to Florida.

Great to see the collaboration and expertise behind this project recognized with a regional America’s Transportation Award.

The Howard Frankland Bridge project has been named a regional winner in the Operations Excellence – Large Project category of the 2026 America’s Transportation Awards, presented by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO)!

Connecting Tampa and St. Petersburg across Old Tampa Bay, this transformative Florida Department of Transportation project will improve regional capacity, mobility and hurricane evacuation routes. Once complete, the new three-mile structure will be the widest bridge ever constructed in Florida.

This recognition advances the project to the next round of the national competition and the opportunity to become one of the Top 12 National Finalists.

Traylor is proud to have helped deliver this important project alongside our partners, with Ballard Marine Construction and Triad Fabricators also contributing their expertise. Congratulations to the entire project team on this well-deserved achievement!

The audit concluded with no Areas of Concern, no Audit Nonconformances, and no Corrective Action Requests, resulting in the renewal of our AISC Certification with no follow-up required.

This achievement reflects our team's unwavering commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and delivering work that meets the highest industry standards.

Maintaining AISC Certification requires a culture of quality that extends beyond the annual audit and into everything we do.
