Ayres has selected Disa Wahlstrand, PE, LEED AP, as the company’s next executive vice president, effective October 1, and she is ready to lead. Disa currently serves as the firm’s vice president of Engineering Services. Since joining the firm full time in 1995 as a project engineer, she has held a variety of leadership positions and has helped guide some of the company’s most significant projects and strategic initiatives. Congratulations, Disa!

Our Waukesha, WI, staff and their families gathered for a summer picnic at a Lake Country Dockhounds game. The evening provided a great opportunity to connect with coworkers and enjoy time together outside the office. They even received a surprise visit from the team's mascot, Louie!

Every other year, our Engineering Services team gets out of the office to tour projects across the Eau Claire area. One stop was UW-Eau Claire, where the team visited several Ayres projects across campus. For many office staff, it's a chance to see the projects they've helped support and bring to life in person. The day also included stops at the Eau Claire Water Treatment Plant, Lake Hallie Street Reconstruction Projects, Boyd Patten Street Reconstruction Project, Lake Altoona Beach, and ClearSky Health Rehabilitation Hospital.

Last Friday, staff from our Burbank, CA, office took on the Pirate’s Curse escape room in Pasadena. By working together, the team escaped in record time, surpassing the reigning champions’ record!
