🌟 Now Hiring: Electrical Engineer

At ADi, Electrical Engineers do more than develop electrical schematics.

They work directly with customers, collaborate with manufacturing, solve technical challenges, and develop custom control panel solutions for real-world applications.

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team and help design custom control panel solutions for applications in data centers, building automation, fire protection, detention facilities, and other mission-critical environments.

In this role, you'll:

âś… Design electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bills of material

âś… Work directly with customers to understand requirements and resolve technical challenges

âś… Collaborate with production teams to develop efficient, buildable solutions

âś… Manage multiple projects from design through production

âś… Help ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in delivering designs that are right the first time.

At ADi, you'll work alongside a team of engineers, problem-solvers, cyclists, musicians, runners, movie buffs, parents, gamers, and everything in between. We're serious about our work, but we also believe great teams are built by great people.

If you're experienced in industrial controls, electrical design, or custom control panels and are looking for an opportunity to make an impact on real-world projects, we'd love to hear from you.

Our New Website Is Live

Finding the right information shouldn't be the hardest part of a project.

Engineers, contractors, OEMs, and system integrators need information quickly. Whether you're evaluating a project, exploring capabilities, researching applications, or looking for technical resources, finding the right information shouldn't slow you down.

That's why we've reimagined the ADi website from the ground up.

The new site makes it easier to:
• Explore our engineering and design capabilities
• Discover applications and industries we serve
• View project examples and manufacturing expertise
• Learn how ADi supports projects from concept through production

We've built a better online experience designed around how our customers work.

Giving back is part of who we are. đź’™

Last week, ADi employees joined hundreds of volunteers across the Chippewa Valley for United Way's Day of Caring.

Our team split into two groups to support local organizations making a difference in our community. One group headed to Beaver Creek Reserve, where they assisted with painting, staining, cleaning, and general grounds maintenance projects to help keep the facilities and outdoor spaces looking their best. The second group spent a half day at the Chippewa Valley Council, Scouting America office, pulling weeds, trimming bushes, and improving the landscaping around the property.

Days like these are a great reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together to lend a hand. We're proud of our team for stepping away from their daily routines to support organizations that help make the Chippewa Valley a better place to live, work, and explore.

A big thank you to United Way Greater Chippewa Valley, Beaver Creek Reserve, and the Chippewa Valley Council, Scouting America for the opportunity to serve.

Engineering Isn't Usually Waiting on Parts. It's Waiting on Answers.

When people think about project delays, they often think about material shortages, shipping delays, or long lead times.

But sometimes the biggest obstacle is much simpler.

It's missing information.

We've seen projects reach engineering only to pause because critical details weren't available yet.

Things like:
• Device specifications
• Voltage requirements
• Product manuals
• Communication protocols
• Integration requirements with other systems

Without that information, moving forward becomes difficult.

Engineering assumptions can create problems later, so the right answer is often to stop and verify what's needed before the project continues.

The challenge is that missing information doesn't just affect engineering.

It can impact purchasing, production, installation, and commissioning.

A question that goes unanswered at the beginning of a project often shows up later as a delay, rework, or troubleshooting effort.

That's why gathering the right information up front is so important.

Not because it slows the project down.

Because it helps prevent the project from slowing down later.

The most successful projects aren't always the ones that start the fastest.

They're the ones that start with the answers needed to keep moving forward.

On Tuesday evening, members of the ADi team participated in the Hike for the Homeless, benefiting Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley - Beacon House.

As a Platinum Sponsor, we were proud to support an event that raises awareness and resources for individuals and families facing housing insecurity in our community. Beyond sponsorship, a group of our team members laced up their shoes and joined hundreds of participants for the walk.

At ADi, we believe strong communities are built when businesses, nonprofits, and volunteers come together to make a difference. Thank you to Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley for organizing another meaningful event and for the important work you do throughout the year.

Investing in the next generation of problem solvers. 🤖

ADi was proud to serve as a Platinum Sponsor of the Leviathans Robotics Rampage this past Saturday at the Pablo Center in Eau Claire.

The event brought together talented robotics teams from across the region to showcase their creativity, engineering skills, and teamwork in a high-energy competition. Three members of the ADi team volunteered throughout the day, helping support the event and the students who make it possible.

We were also honored to present the Programming Award to Team 1732 - Hilltopper Robotics of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recognizing their outstanding achievement in robot programming.

Congratulations to Team 1732 and all the students who participated. Events like Robotics Rampage help inspire future engineers, programmers, technicians, and innovators, and we're grateful to play a small part in supporting that journey.

Ready or not, it was time to play! 🏓

Four members of the ADi team recently traded control panels for pickleball paddles to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin at the Big Pickleballooza in Lake Hallie.

As an Ace Sponsor of the event, we were proud to support an organization that makes a lasting impact on local youth. While Beth, Loren, Brenden, and Elena may have arrived with limited pickleball experience, they made up for it with enthusiasm, teamwork, and a willingness to support a great cause.

Thank you to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin for hosting a fantastic event. Fun was had by all, both on and off the court!

Talk about a comeback. ⚾🔥

The ADi team enjoyed a night at the Eau Claire Express game, and we couldn't have picked a better one. The Express erased a 13-run deficit to pull off an incredible win over the Waterloo Bucks!

Good food, cold drinks, great company, and a game nobody will forget made for an outstanding evening at the ballpark.

Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun night!

Most of our work doesn’t come from new customers—it comes from customers who come back.

In an industry where reliability matters, that doesn’t happen by accident.

Over time, we’ve seen a few consistent reasons why customers choose to work with ADi again:
• The work is consistent from project to project
• Communication is clear from start to finish
• Challenges are addressed directly—not passed along
• Details are handled so nothing gets missed in the field

It’s not one thing—it’s the combination.

Because a control panel isn’t just a product. It’s something that has to install cleanly, integrate properly, and perform over time. And that level of consistency only comes from how the entire process is approached—from design through production.

That’s what builds long-term partnerships.

Not one successful project—but repeatable results over time.

Because in the end, customers don’t come back for what’s promised.

They come back for what they can count on.

If you’ve worked with partners who consistently deliver, you understand why that matters.
