Sometimes, an important conversation starts with a simple question. 🎀

As we wrap up the final week of Wrenching for a Cure, we’re highlighting the importance of open and honest conversations about breast health.

Whether it’s checking in with a loved one, encouraging someone to schedule a screening, or simply being there to listen, these conversations can help people feel informed, supported, and empowered to take action.

Breast health awareness matters to everyone, and no one needs to be an expert to make a difference.

💗 Learn it. Talk about it. Share it.

This is also your last chance to support our Wrenching for a Cure fundraiser! All donations are voluntary, and Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment will match all donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $5,000.

Connecting with Public Works Professionals at MCPWA!

Last week, Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment had the opportunity to attend the Montgomery County Public Works Association (MCPWA) Bi-Annual Conference.

For over 50 years, MCPWA has been dedicated to advancing the public works industry through innovation, technology, and industry standards. We were proud to be part of an event that brings together professionals committed to keeping our communities moving forward.

A special thank you to MCPWA for hosting a great event and to everyone who stopped by our booth to connect with our team, share insights, and learn more about what Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment has to offer.

We appreciate the opportunity, the conversations, and the connections made throughout the conference. We look forward to seeing everyone again!

Awareness starts with knowing what to look for and understanding that breast cancer can affect anyone.

This week of Wrenching for a Cure, we’re highlighting two important reminders: breast cancer can affect men, too, and knowing what’s normal for your body can help you recognize when something changes.

Pay attention to new or unusual changes, and don’t ignore something that doesn’t seem right. Awareness doesn’t replace recommended screenings or regular medical care, but knowing the signs can help start an important conversation with a healthcare provider.

🎀 Don’t panic. Don’t ignore it. If something changes, speak up.

Breast cancer is more than a diagnosis. It can affect individuals, families, friends, coworkers, and entire communities.

Understanding personal risk factors and having conversations with your healthcare provider can be an important part of breast health. Just as important is recognizing the emotional impact a diagnosis can have and continuing to support those around us.

🎀 This week, we’re encouraging everyone to know the risk, understand the impact, and keep the conversation going.

🎀 Team MATE Goes Pink for a Cause!

This week, Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment went PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Wrenching for a Cure.

Across our branches, Team MATE came together in our Wrenching for a Cure shirts to raise awareness and show support for a cause that impacts so many individuals and families.

We're incredibly proud of our teammates for participating and committing to making a difference. Every pink shirt worn and every show of support helps spread awareness and reinforces the importance of standing together.

And we're just getting started! 💗 Throughout October, we'll continue raising awareness, supporting those impacted by breast cancer, and working together to make a difference.

Swipe through to see how our branches showed their support during Pink Day!

Sometimes the most meaningful thing you can do is simply show up.

For someone facing breast cancer, support can take many forms. It can mean listening, being there, respecting their privacy, checking in, offering help, or continuing to show up throughout their journey.

This week of Wrenching for a Cure is a reminder that no one should have to face breast cancer alone. 🎀

Support can make a difference at every stage of the journey.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and throughout the month, Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment is proud to support awareness, education, and those impacted by breast cancer.

This week, we’re starting with the basics: knowing your normal, understanding your risk, recognizing the importance of early detection, and supporting the people around us.

Awareness can make a difference, and it starts with a conversation.
