🇺🇸 Honoring 250 Years of American History 🇺🇸

The Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department was honored to welcome Congressman Andy Harris as he presented our department with a special Betsy Ross flag commemorating our nation’s 250th anniversary.

Accepting the flag on behalf of KIVFD were President Jody Schulz, Vice President Kirby Schulz, and First Assistant Chief Tracy Schulz.

We sincerely appreciate Congressman Harris taking the time to visit our department and recognize this historic milestone as our nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of American independence. 🇺🇸

One of the best ways to protect yourself from online scams is by using strong passwords. While many people focus on complexity—adding symbols, numbers and capital letters—password length is equally important. A longer password or passphrase is harder for cybercriminals to crack. Create memorable phrases made up of several unrelated words, and avoid using personal information like birthdays or pet names.
