Gradall’s got lights baby!!! … I’ve got dirt to mooove!!!! 🤟🏻

💥💥💥

11/01/2026

It was a whole day of moving dirt. 30+ trips with the dump truck. 🚚~~~

I think it’ll take two more days like today moving the dirt I’ve got…. then I’ll get some better material delivered to top things off.

It’s a dirt moving kind of weekend!

I have a proper roller now!

I make @15 trips with the dump truck…walk the Gradall back to knock the piles down… and compact the layer. Then repeat.

I think that’s what I’m doing all day tomorrow.

De-barker…vibrating conveyor fix 💥

This all went well.

I got the worst of the hot work out of the way right off the bat. Plasma gouging the old bracket out.

I am ill 😷. It started yesterday and it seems to be getting worse. Some virus 🦠… I blame my children.

Here’s a few pics from today. Details in the captions.

Body work! 💥

This loader needs some patches.

I’m guessing this machine will head out to run a snow pusher somewhere, soonish.

Details in the captions.

I finished making the new conveyor bracket.

Friday this gets installed. No on-site welding…. some gouging to get the old bracket out and some mag drilling to secure the new one.

I scoped out a job for a new customer this morning. 👀

A local chipping mill.

They have a recurring issue with a bracket on a vibrating conveyor. Welds cracking.

Next week I’ll be cutting out the old bracket and replacing it with a larger, heavier… bolt in.. bracket.

I’m fabricating that now.

These pictures aren’t great but that’s what you’re getting. Details in the captions.

Big red progress 💥
.there isn’t a lot to say. I removing, adding, and manipulating metal with the aid of abrasives, fire, and electricity… some hydraulics sprinkled in here and there.

Pics… details —> in the captions.

Dumpster revival part #2 💥

The local scrapyard has a few dumpsters that need a little tlc. I’m patching them up so they can go back in service.

Here’s the first one. I’ll be patching the bottom of all the vertical tubes on the outside…running plates along the bottom of both walls inside…patching up the doghouse… and doing some floor patches. All the horizontal tubes on the big rear door are getting replaced too.

…nothing fancy —> getting it back to work.

Details in the captions.
