🎄🎅 HAPPY NOVEMBER 1ST!! 🎅🎄

Who’s ready for Christmas?! Because I know I am! 😂❤️

Let’s have some fun, what is your kind of Christmas tree!?

Are you

OPTION 1: Memory Tree. A little bit of family, a little bit of chaos, a little bit of anything goes. 🤪

Or are you…

OPTION 2: A Showstopping Tree! The designer, the Pinterest, the don’t touch a thing kind of person. 😆

👇 No judgment here! We are team anything goes! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Which team are you?!

Since there seems to be so much confusion and outrage over our penny rounding post, let’s put some actual numbers into perspective.

This past week, we had 676 transactions at our store. Only 202 were cash. That means 70% of our transactions were completely unaffected.

We are a small, locally owned business trying to navigate a penny shortage that we didn’t create. We cannot give out pennies we cannot obtain, and changing our prices to whole dollars doesn’t solve the problem when Maine’s sales tax is 5.5%.

This isn’t about stealing from customers or making extra money. It’s about finding a reasonable solution to a supply issue beyond our control.

We understand that every penny matters, but being accused of theft for trying to manage a shortage we didn’t create isn’t fair.

We’re happy to answer genuine questions, but we won’t apologize for a situation we didn’t cause. We will continue doing our best to serve our community, just as we always have.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support local businesses. ❤️

Starting November 1st!

We were hoping to not have to start this so soon, but since we are having a hard time finding pennies we have made this decision.

This change ONLY applies to cash transactions.

Made our way over to Good & Plenty Diner 2 this morning! Had a delicious breakfast and scored some of Brandie Abdelrihims Trompe-l'œil pastries!

If you haven’t yet you have to try one…or 4. Follow their page to keep an eye out for her next drop of flavors! 😍 🍓
