Big thanks to the The Des Moines Register for coming out to cover our first Women's Day!

Here's why we think it was worth covering: there aren't a lot of chances for people, especially women, to get behind the controls of heavy equipment in an environment that's fun, safe, and judgment-free. Saturday was exactly that. First-time operators ran the X-Line excavator, wheel loader, forklift, and mini skid steer, and left knowing it's a lot less intimidating (and a lot more fun) than it looks.

"I really wanted to experience doing something I never would have imagined myself doing," said Sara Greenberg after her first time in the cab.

We had so much fun hosting new drivers at our Women’s Day event a few weeks ago, thanks for sharing this Amber Waves of Brain!

X-Line machines are built to be easy to pick up for a new operator, and durable enough to take the learning curve. Watching people go from “I’ve never touched a machine like this” to confidently running it in one afternoon was a good reminder that ease of use isn’t just a spec sheet line, it’s what gets more people into the seat.

Our first Women's Day is officially in the books. 💪

We built this event around one idea: give people who've never had the chance to run heavy equipment a shot to actually get behind the controls. No experience required, no judgment, just seat time.

By the end of the day, first-time drivers were running the X-Line excavator, wheel loader, forklift, and mini skid steer with confidence. That's not an accident - our machines are built to be intuitive from the first minute in the cab, and tough enough to handle a new driver still finding their rhythm (such as on that stand-on skid steer - IYKYK!).

Huge thanks to everyone who showed up ready to try something new, and to our team who made it feel this easy and this fun.

This was our first Erixon Women's Day. It will not be our last!
