🔥 HPC FIRE INSPIRED | GAS FIRE PIT INSTALLATION PLANNING GUIDE

Install Confidence. Lights Every Time.®

A beautiful fire starts long before the first flame! Proper planning is essential for a safe, reliable, and code-compliant outdoor gas fire feature.

Whether you’re a homeowner, contractor, or dealer, here are 8 key considerations before installation:

🔥 1. Codes & Permits: Confirm local requirements, permits, inspections, and product approvals before construction.

📍 2. Location & Clearances: Choose a suitable outdoor location and follow the exact model’s required clearances from structures, furniture, and combustible materials.

⛽ 3. Gas Supply: Verify natural gas or propane requirements, BTU input, proper pipe sizing, operating pressure, and accessible shutoff valves.

⚡ 4. Electrical Requirements: Confirm the ignition system’s voltage, wiring, grounding, and protection requirements.

🏗️ 5. Enclosure, Ventilation & Drainage: Use approved construction materials, maintain required ventilation, and prevent water accumulation around critical components.

💎 6. Fire Media: Use only approved fire glass, lava rock, or other specified media. Proper placement supports safe ignition and flame performance.

✅ 7. Testing & Commissioning: Have qualified professionals complete required pressure testing, leak checks, ignition testing, and safety verification.

🛠️ 8. Maintenance: Keep burners, vents, controls, and drainage clear. Follow manufacturer inspection and maintenance instructions.

IMPORTANT: Always follow the current installation manual for your exact HPC model and applicable local codes. Gas and electrical work must be performed by qualified professionals as required.

🔥 DEALERS & INSTALLERS: Partner with HPC Fire Inspired for innovative technology, technical expertise, and resources that help you deliver exceptional installations.
