Supporting the next generation of tradespeople starts with providing more opportunities.

Last week at Eastern Energy Expo, Taco donated equipment to Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School, helping teachers expand their HVAC program curriculum and giving students the tools they need to succeed.

Students at BVT now have the opportunity to learn hands-on how to install and troubleshoot the same products they’ll encounter in the field.

BVT HVAC Instructor Daniel Morin shared, “The donation provides more workstations for our students, allowing for deeper learning opportunities and giving additional students hands-on experience.”

We’re proud to help position students for future careers in the trades.

The purpose behind a domestic hot water recirculation system is to get hot water to plumbing fixtures fast. But faster isn’t always better. It’s not an exaggeration to say that oversizing your DHW recirc pump can have catastrophic consequences, and we’d like to make sure that doesn’t happen to you.

Join Jason Kockx and the Taco Training Team to learn about new industry flow and velocity guidelines, and how to use that information to make sure your pump is sized and controlled properly for fast hot water delivery while protecting the plumbing system from pinhole leaks and other catastrophic failures.

This single-day event brought together quality professionals for a focused and engaging experience, featuring six guest speakers, a hands-on workshop, networking opportunities, and a capstone Taco Cranston plant tour. RIASQ shared that it was the “crown jewel” of the event!

We look forward to continued collaboration with RIASQ and other organizations that work to advance quality, especially in our local RI community.

Pix From the Field 📸: Z Plumbing and Heating in Billerica, MA installed a cast iron boiler and storage tank for a residential project, supporting three zones of heat plus a fourth zone for an indirect tank.

Included in this build were four Taco 007e ECM High-Efficiency Circulators and a SR504 Enhanced Switching Relay for dependable comfort.
