RISE is proud to collaborate with Gradient, New Ecology, Inc., Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., the Boston Housing Authority, and Eversource on the Hassan Apartments project, helping bring saddle-style window heat pumps to affordable housing in Boston.
Bloomberg recently featured this groundbreaking effort in their article, “Boston Public Housing Upgrades Units With Window Heat Pumps,” highlighting the impact of innovation in public-sector retrofits.
This project proves that electrification in older multifamily buildings can be smart, scalable, and affordable. Together, we’re making comfort, efficiency, and clean energy accessible for everyone.
“This project reduces carbon and carbon monoxide emissions at a fraction of the cost of traditional heat pumps,” said Brett Svendsen, Operations Manager at RISE. “It shows what’s possible when skilled labor, custom fabrication, and electrical expertise come together.” Real progress happens when partnership meets purpose.
