RISE is proud to collaborate with Gradient, New Ecology, Inc., Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., the Boston Housing Authority, and Eversource on the Hassan Apartments project, helping bring saddle-style window heat pumps to affordable housing in Boston.

Bloomberg recently featured this groundbreaking effort in their article, “Boston Public Housing Upgrades Units With Window Heat Pumps,” highlighting the impact of innovation in public-sector retrofits.

This project proves that electrification in older multifamily buildings can be smart, scalable, and affordable. Together, we’re making comfort, efficiency, and clean energy accessible for everyone.

“This project reduces carbon and carbon monoxide emissions at a fraction of the cost of traditional heat pumps,” said Brett Svendsen, Operations Manager at RISE. “It shows what’s possible when skilled labor, custom fabrication, and electrical expertise come together.” Real progress happens when partnership meets purpose.

Honoring Four Decades of Leadership

After more than four decades of service, Vincent “Vin” Graziano has stepped down as CEO & President of The RISE Group, Inc.

Since joining in 1995, Vin has been instrumental in growing our team to 650 employee-owners and delivering over 500,000 energy-efficiency retrofits totaling $1.4B in building improvements. He will continue as Senior Advisor to the Board through December 31, 2025.

Help us congratulate Julian Joffe, Manny Reis, and Ralean Dickson — our most recent C.A.R.E. Award recipients!

Julian Joffe, a Senior Engineer with RISE C&I, was recognized for his leadership and collaboration on building assessments across Massachusetts. His recent work in Quincy schools helped streamline processes and strengthened customer trust.

Manny Reis, Service Manager at AirMasters in Fall River, was nominated by a teammate for consistently supporting field techs while also managing scheduling, quoting, and complex service calls.

Ralean Dickson, an Energy Specialist on our RISE Residential Team in Springfield, MA, was celebrated for creating a standout customer experience during a Home Energy Assessment on Martha’s Vineyard. His professionalism, warmth, and clear communication left a lasting impression and earned glowing feedback directly from the homeowner.
