You may know him as a Hollywood icon, but did you know that Paul Newman was also a phenomenal professional racer? 🤩 He started racing at 46 and went on to win big races well into his 80s! 😲

It all began with the movie "Winning" in 1969, where Newman played a racecar driver. 🎬 From there, he caught the racing bug and decided to pursue it seriously, starting with a humble Datsun 510. 🚗

Through hard work and dedication, Newman quickly rose through the ranks, winning multiple SCCA championships and even placing 2nd at the grueling 24h Le Mans in 1979! 🏆

Age was just a number for this incredible man. At 70, he won his class at the 24 hours of Daytona, becoming the oldest driver to be part of a winning team in a major race. 🎉 A decade later, he returned to Daytona, driving for his own successful team, Newman/Haas Racing. 💪

Paul Newman's racing journey is an inspiration to us all, proving that it's never too late to pursue your passions and achieve greatness! 🌟
