The first day of Autumn marks National Falls Prevention Awareness Day.
Falls are the leading cause of injury for older adults, and travelling between floors can be particularly daunting for folks with mobility challenges.
We're grateful to have had the opportunity to help thousands of customers feel safer at home with a stair lift, home elevator, or other accessibility lift.

Happy Grandparents Day! This day is all about making memories that matter.
One of the things we love hearing from our customers is how their stair lift helps them spend more quality time with their families, including grandchildren. From reading stories upstairs to joining family gatherings with confidence, staying connected to every part of the home helps keep those special moments close.
Some customers even tell us their younger grandkids enjoy riding up and down the stairs on the lift!
And for adult grandchildren, a stair lift offers something just as valuable: peace of mind. Knowing their grandparents can safely navigate their home allows them to worry less and focus more on enjoying time together.
This Grandparents Day, we're celebrating the connections, memories, and independence that help families stay close.

When looking for the best stair lift for a particular home and user, a one-size-fits-all approach just doesn't work.
* Straight Stair Lift: Works for stairs that go straight up and down with no curves or landings
* Curved Stair Lift: Custom built rail to curve around any turns, curves, or landings on the staircase
* Outdoor Stair Lift: Made with durable materials to withstand the elements for outdoor stairs
* Retractable Rail: For staircases that start in a hallway, the bottom of the rail can move out of the way when the lift is not in use
* Power Swivel Seats: The stair lift chair swivels automatically at the top of the stairs to make getting on and off the lift easier.

On top of all these types and features, different models of stair lifts can vary in the shape and size of the chair and the style of controls.

That's why at Arrow Lift, we offer a wide selection of different models from multiple top brands.

It's important to us that our customers feel comfortable with their lifts. That's why our installers work hard to show our customers how to use the lift and answer any questions they have, even if it takes a little more time. We're so glad this came across for our customer, Lehann.

Full quote:
"Excellent customer service. Very polite young man as installer. He was not rushed and had as much time as I needed to be comfortable using my new chair. Highly recommend this company."

Many “standing stair lifts” shown online are misleading or unsafe. In most cases, designs that lack a seat back, seat belt, and a supported exit onto a level landing do not meet basic stair lift safety expectations. Learn all about safer and more practical solutions, including one of our perch-style standing stair lifts.

Thinking about a home elevator? Start with the dimensions.
One of the biggest misconceptions about residential elevators is that they require a huge amount of space. In reality, most home elevators need a footprint of approximately 5' x 5', while common interior cab sizes include 40" x 54" and 36" x 60".
Key measurements to know:
• Typical footprint: 25 sq. ft.
• Maximum residential cab size: 15 sq. ft.
• Minimum doorway width: 32 inches in most jurisdictions
• Alternative options like pneumatic and shaftless elevators may require even less space
Whether you're planning a new build or remodeling, Arrow Lift can help you find the best option for you!
