I use hide glue and guitars are built from patterns and specs from vintage Martins and Gibsons that have crossed my bench.

Pre war style D18 Red Spruce, figured Honduran Mahogany, Zircote fingerboard and matching bridge. The back and sides is wet to show the figure after it's sprayed. The jig is for measuring the neck angle, fingerboard thickness is the wide board, just lay it on and measure the distance under the top board. Beats juggling straight edges and stuff. One handed. Very light body and neck.

What can I say, I love these little guys, Honduran rosewood and Red spruce 12 fret OO. You just Think you need a Dreadnaught. Martin really nailed it with double Os. Never heard a bad one 14 or 12 fret. Surprising volume, balance and clarity.

Time to finish these up. Left to right, all mahogany 14 fret OO, 12 fret OOO Patagonian rosewood and sitka, standard D18 Red spruce Hog, figured mahogany, red spruce D18. Feels good to be using the shop, call me, come by, repairs or builds.

Major work on the house done, back at it. 12 fret 0042. Nicaraguan rosewood and Red spruce. Curly maple binding.
