JUST TESTING 👀 The final product will likely not be something that can handle this, remember, it’s a Top Dresser.

You can see the major flex in the bucket skin as well as the flying debris and obvious drum stoppage indicating the motor is over relief— all things we want to avoid.

This flexing is a big reason we’re advising folks to keep their Hydra Buckets intact, never mind the fact that it voids your warranty. The Hydra Buckets is dialed. It’s locked in, and we’re not trying to mess with it— this Hydra Dresser is a custom made prototype that will be ideal for spreading topsoil, straw, gravel, bedding, manure, etc.

But this is pretty cool that we could test it breaking up these compacted millings, it shows some of the pitfalls of this open design on rough material.

Arenas: Rock Hard < Fluff 🐎

The Hydra Bucket pulverizes material more effectively than a harley rake, even more than our Hydra Rake, and definitely more than the traditional drag rake that would be commonly used on an arena like this.

The rigidity of the bucket, aided by the drum cavity reinforcing the skin, allows for consistent down pressure and stability to put all the energy into the ground where it belongs, instead of just throwing material around.
