This Viking Pump, Inc gear pump came to us from a food manufacturer for a serious rebuild. Once disassembled and inspected, our technicians found wear throughout the pump, including a pitted relief valve seat, an out-of-tolerance idler and bore, deep O-ring grooves in the shaft, and multiple components worn beyond specification.

Using detailed measurements from the inspection report, we replaced the worn components. Now this gear pump is ready to get back to work. 💪

We are proud to celebrate an extraordinary milestone: Dale Annoye is marking his 50th work anniversary. Five decades with one organization is a remarkable achievement and a testament to his dedication, technical expertise, and commitment to serving our customers.

He began his career as an application engineer on our new equipment team, helping customers select the right equipment for their specific applications. He later brought that experience to help develop our OptiFlow skidded systems group, where he currently designs complete turnkey systems that integrate the pumps, valves, controls, and other components we provide.

His knowledge, creativity, and willingness to share his experience have made a lasting impact on our customers, our projects, and generations of employees. Heat exchangers can lose efficiency when heat transfer barriers and fouling limit how effectively energy moves from steam to the process fluid. Over time, product deposits, scaling, and hard water buildup can create uneven heating and poor product quality.

Direct steam injection (DSI) by Hydro-Thermal Corporation eliminates the heat transfer barrier by injecting steam directly into the process fluid, allowing the steam to condense and transfer its energy directly and efficiently. The result is fast, uniform heating with less energy loss and fouling.
